IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #14-18
Approving Monk Construction, Inc., Application for Tax Abatement on Improvements to the property located at 101 W Seventh Street, Monticello, Iowa.
WHEREAS, Monticello has enacted an Urban Revitalization Tax Abatement program and codified same at Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, Monk Construction, Inc., has completed and filed an Application for Tax Abatement on their property, a Residentially zoned property located at 101 W. Seventh Street, Monticello, Iowa, same utilized for residential purposes, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed said Application, and finds that the information submitted therein is consistent with that required by the Monticello Code of Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Application for Tax Abatement filed by Monk Construction, Inc. as set forth above, consistent with Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, said Application bearing the date of 1/21/2014 and being signed by John Monk, and further directs the Monticello City Clerk to file same with the Jones County Assessor as prescribed by law.
