IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #14-202
Resolution to authorize sale of 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Car to the City of Worthington, Iowa.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello owns a 2010 Crown Victoria “equipped” Police Car, and
WHEREAS, The City of Worthington, Iowa, has agreed to purchase the above vehicle with equipment for the sum of $10,000, and
WHEREAS, The Police Chief has recommended the sale of the vehicle to the City of Worthington for the sum of $10,000, with the plan to use said sums along with current set aside funds, to replace the vehicle to be sold, and
WHEREAS, The Council, after considering comments and information provided by the Police Chief, find it appropriate and in the best interests of the City to sell the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria to the City of Worthington as proposed for the sum of $10,000
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby authorize the sale of the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, with equipment, to the City of Worthington as proposed herein for the sum of $10,000.
