IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #14-34
Approving Final Pay Request of Thompson Truck and Trailer, formerly
Hawkeye International Trucks related to the Airport Truck /
Equipment package purchased by the Airport as part of
a FAA authorized AIP project, in the amount of $12,343.00
WHEREAS, Hawkeye International Trucks was the successful bidder on the City Airport Truck/Plow package and has provided said truck/equipment consistent with said bid, and
WHEREAS, The Council previously approved Hawkeye’s’ first pay request, less a 5% retainage, to be held until the satisfactory completion of a short punch list by Hawkeye, and
WHEREAS, The punch list has now been dealt with to the satisfaction of the Airport Manager, Airport Board, City Engineer, and the FAA, and the retainage should therefore be approved for payment, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the payment of the retainage in the amount of $12,343.00 is appropriate and should be authorized for payment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve payment of the final retainage on the Airport Truck purchase to Hawkeye International Trucks in the amount of $12,343.00.
