RESOLUTION #15-33
To approve proposed storm water cost share agreement between
The City of Monticello and Keith Tackett
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello previously enacted a storm water management ordinance to be used by the City for City storm water related purposes, and/or to be used as a cost share with private property owners on storm water related projects, and
WHEREAS, The City Ordinance provides that the City contribution in a private project may not exceed 50% of that project cost, and
WHEREAS, Keith Tackett submitted an application requesting cost share to remove two trees lying near the 6th Street ditch that lying to the rear of his property, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the project is a storm water project that is eligible for cost share.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 20th day of April, 2015, does hereby approve the Storm Water Cost Share Application filed by Keith Tackett and approves a cost share in an amount equal to 50% of the project costs not to exceed $552.50, same to be paid upon final project completion and invoicing.
