IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #16-26
Approving Change Order #18 in the positive amount of $353.10 and #20
in the negative amount of ($4,365.00) submitted by G.L. Stockham &
Son, Inc., related to Community Building Project.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated City within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, G.L. Stockham & Son contracted with the City to perform specified improvements to the Monticello Community Building, and
WHEREAS, During the course of project planning, certain amendments to the project were deemed necessary and/or desirable, two of those changes being shown by Change Order #18 and Change Order #20, as follows:
1. Change Order #18 reflecting an additional $353.10 related to an increase in size of the Clerk’s Office Countertop.
2. Change Order #20 reflecting a deduct in the amount of $4,365 related to money not to be paid to Duratuff Flooring related to unsatisfactory floor finish.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve Change Order #18 in the positive amount of $353.10 and Change Order #20 in the negative amount of ($4,365), related to the Community Building Project in the total amount of ($4,011.90).
IN THE TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and caused the Great Seal for the City of Monticello, Iowa to be affixed. Done this 7th day of March 2016.
