RESOLUTION #2020-111
Resolution approving the Engagement of Callahan Municipal Consultant Services to perform, work with, and assist the City with the City Administrator Search Process
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Monticello has considered a number of consultants to assist the City with the search for a new City Administrator in light of City Administrator Herman’s resignation, and
WHEREAS, The Council, after discussing the pros and cons of the Consultants under consideration finds that Consultant Pat Callahan, with Callahan Municipal Consultant Services, should be hired to lead the search process as proposed by Callahan.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council, in session this 19th day of October, 2020 does hereby authorize the hiring of Callahan Municipal Consultant Services as proposed by Callahan to lead the City Administrator search process and authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement between Callahan and the City consistent with Callahan’s proposal on behalf of the City Council.
