RESOLUTION #2025-168
Approving Plat of Survey to Parcel 2025-15, Parcel 2025-16,
Parcel 2025-17 and Parcel 2025-18
WHEREAS, The Plat of Survey to Parcel 2025-15, Parcel 2025-16, Parcel 2025-17 and Parcel 2025-18 has been presented to the City Council for approval, same being located within the City Limits of the City of Monticello, and
WHEREAS, The Plat of Survey for property owned by Steve Holmes in the area bounded by Chestnut Street on the west and Laude Avenue on the north, adjacent to the 6th Street ditch. There is one other homeowner on this block as well (Chally). The requested plat would “correct” the platted lot lines to better reflect what has actually been built on the lots over the years, and reflect additional land that was purchased by Chally decades ago, and
WHEREAS, The City Planning and Zoning Board has reviewed the Plat of Survey and recommends that it be approved, and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the Plat of Survey to Parcel 2025-15, Parcel 2025-16, Parcel 2025-17 and Parcel 2025-18 should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Plat of Survey to Parcel 2025-15, Parcel 2025-16, Parcel 2025-17 and Parcel 2025-18.
