RESOLUTION #2026-136
Promoting a Monticello Ambulance Paramedic to
Lead Paramedic and setting wage
WHEREAS, Monticello Ambulance desires to promote a staff member to Lead Paramedic to assist with director duties and to be in charge, in absence of the director, and
WHEREAS, The Monticello City Council approved the Lead Paramedic wage of $33.14 effective July 1, 2026, in the Wage Chart that was on April 6, 2026, and
WHEREAS, The Ambulance Director is requesting the ability to pay Lead Paramedic wage of $33.14 to Mason Hanson while in charge of the Ambulance Service, in the absence of the Ambulance Director and/or assisting with Director duties, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds it appropriate to follow the recommendation of the Ambulance Director, and further finds that the wages set is fair and reasonable and should, therefore, be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, The Council hereby authorizes Lead Paramedic wages to Mason Hanson while preforming the duties as listed above.
