IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #12-129
Approving Eastern Iowa Excavating Pay Request #1 and Change Order #1
related to the 2012 City of Monticello Street Repair projects.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated city within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, Eastern Iowa Excavating has contracted with the City to perform various street repairs during the 2012 construction season as part of what has been referred to as the 2012 Street Repair Projects, and
WHEREAS, Eastern Iowa has completed portions of the work they were hired to complete and have submitted a pay request in the amount of $64,206.65 less 5% retainage, for a total due of $60,996.32, and
WHEREAS, A review of the pay requests and the actual work completed to date supports the pay request and the Council finds that same should be approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve Pay Request #1, which included Change Order #1, in the amount of $64,206.65, less retainage in the amount of $3,210.33, for a balance due in the amount of $60,996.32.
