IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-76
Awarding 2015 Maple Street Repair Project to Midwest Concrete
WHEREAS, The City Council directed the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for purposes of seeking bids or quotations related to Maple Street repairs, and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer prepared plans and specifications for the 2015 Maple Street Repair Project and forwarded said plans and specs. to appropriate contractors, and
WHEREAS, The City received two proposals by the date and time noted in the specifications, with those proposals coming from the following entities in the following amounts:
1. Midwest Concrete $41,275
2. Eastern Iowa Excavating and Concrete $48,362
WHEREAS, Based upon the above and foregoing, the City Engineer and City Administrator recommend that the City Council authorize the entry into an agreement with Midwest Concrete for purposes of completing the 2015 Maple Street Repairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the entry into an agreement with Midwest Concrete for purposes of completing the 2015 Maple Street Repair Project.
