RESOLUTION #10-32A
Resolution approving Lease Agreement between the City of Monticello and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources have agreed to the rental of Community Building space by the IDNR from the City, and
WHEREAS, a Lease agreement has been drawn, same setting out the terms of the City and IDNR rental Agreement, same, upon completion, being attached hereto for reference, and being incorporated within this Resolution as if set forth fully, verbatim herein, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the terms of the proposed lease agreement to be agreeable and in the best interest of the City, with the understanding that the term of the lease will be for a period of three (3) years at a rental rate of $225.00 per month, the lease to be modified to reflect the actual beginning occupancy date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Monticello Council meeting in regular session this 15th day of March, does hereby approve of the Lease agreement between the City of Monticello and the IDNR as presented within the attached lease agreement, the material terms disclosing monthly rent from the IDNR to the City in the amount of $225.00, and a term of three (3) years.
