IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #11-126
Approving payment to Horsfield Construction Company,
related to South Cedar Street final restoration and seeding
in the amount of $8,125.00
WHEREAS, The South Cedar Street Reconstruction project has been completed with final payment of all sums due and retainage to the contractor, and
WHEREAS, $8,125.00 of the contract was deducted from the contract balance due to the fact that final restoration and seeding along the curb and sidewalk was not completed in a satisfactory fashion, with the understanding and agreement that said sum would be paid to Horsfield at such time as the areas of concern were re-seeded and restored, and
WHEREAS, Final restoration and re-seeding has occurred and based thereon the Engineer recommends that payment be made to Horsfield in the amount of $8,125.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Monticello, Iowa hereby approve payment of the retainage due Horsfield Construction in the amount of $8,125.00.
