IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #11-160
To Schedule Public Hearing on the entry into a three (3) year Lease Agreement between the City of Monticello and a yet to be identified tenant with regard to the Monticello Airport farm ground for December 19, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello Airport Board, with the consent and approval of the Monticello City Council, has determined it appropriate to hold a live auction related to the Airport Farm Lease, same to be held at the Regular Airport Board meeting on December 6, 2011, and
WHEREAS, Before a new lease agreement for three (3) years or longer, may be executed a public hearing must be held, and
WHEREAS, It is presumed, at the approval of this Resolution, that the auction will be held as scheduled and that the Airport Board will be in a position to make a recommendation to the City Council in regard to the proposed entry into a three (3) year lease agreement, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds it appropriate to schedule a public hearing on the proposed entry into a three (3) year lease agreement of the airport farm ground for the 19th of December at 6:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby schedule a public hearing on the proposed entry into a three (3) year lease agreement of the airport farm ground for the 19th of December, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.
