IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #11-61
Resolution Scheduling Public Hearing on the Final Plans and Specifications, Proposed Form of Contract, and engineer’s cost estimate, related to the Airport Terminal Building, FAA Project No.: 3-19-0061-06, for May 16, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, the City Council preliminarily approved the plans and specifications, the form of contract, and the engineer’s cost estimate, and further authorized the project going to bid, during the Special Council Meeting of April 25, 2011, and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned plans, specifications, and the engineer’s cost estimate have been reviewed by the FAA, with any necessary revisions, as directed by the FAA, to be incorporated prior to the project being let for bid, and
WHEREAS, the City’s Engineer recommends that bids be let on May 24, 2011 with the contract being awarded on June 6, 2011, and
WHEREAS, Before the consideration and award of a bid on this project, the City must schedule and hold a public hearing on the final plans and specifications, form of contract, and engineer’s cost estimate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Monticello Council meeting in regular session this 2nd day of May, 2011 does hereby establish a bid letting date of May 24, 2011 until 3:00 P.M., and schedules a Public Hearing on the final plans and specifications, form of contract, and engineer’s cost estimate for May 16, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers at the Mary Lovell LeVan Renaissance Center, 220 E. 1st Street, Monticello, Iowa, after which the Council will consider approval of the final plans and specifications, form of contract, and engineer’s cost estimate.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City of Monticello Council meeting in regular session this 2nd day of May, 2011, does hereby authorize the publication of all appropriate notices and advertisements per the Code of Iowa in regard to the letting, Public Hearing, and any other matter for which publication/notice is required in regard to AIP 3-19-0061-06.
