The City of Monticello, Iowa
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #12-114
Resolution to approve the agreement / covenant between
City of Monticello and Steve Ehrisman.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello has been approached by Steve Ehrisman who has requested that property owned by him be re-zoned from R-1 to C-1, and
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Board has agreed to recommend the re-zoning with conditions on the re-zoning, limiting the use of the property to travel trailer (campground) purposes, and limiting the size of the park to twelve permanent sites amongst other conditions, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has previously considered a draft agreement to be executed by Ehrisman and the City and has received comment from Ehrisman in regard thereto, and based thereon recommended slight modifications to same, and
WHEREAS, The City Administrator has made the recommended amendments to the agreement as previously proposed and the Council finds the agreement as now amended to be agreeable and in the best interests of the City, and therefore, finds that same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council does hereby approve the Development Agreement / Covenant related to the Ehrisman Travel Trailer park (Campground), and directs that same be recorded with the costs of said recordation being assessed to Ehrisman, with the further notation that the project may not yet move forward, with Ehrisman now being required to present a site plan to the Planning and Zoning Board to review and then present to the Council with their recommendation.
