RESOLUTION #13-55
Approving Change Order, reducing cost of Walnut sewer repair
project from $27,566 to $26,259.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello previously entered into an agreement with Ricklefs Excavating to see to certain repairs to a sanitary sewer line running generally parallel and west of Walnut Street, in a field behind the homes located on the west side of Walnut Street, and
WHEREAS, The project has been completed, and final payment has been made to Ricklefs Excavating in the amount of $26,259, down from the original contract estimate of $27,566, resulting in a reduction of $1,307, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds it appropriate to approve a reduction in the Walnut Street Sewer Project agreement between the City of Monticello and Ricklefs Excavating in the amount of $1,307.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Monticello, through its’ City Council in session this 1st day of July, 2013, that the agreement between the City of Monticello and Ricklefs Excavating related to the Walnut Street Sewer Repair project is hereby reduced by the sum of $1,307 to reflect the actual and final project cost of $26,259.
