The City of Monticello, Iowa
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-04
Approving payment of retainage to Eastern Iowa Excavating & Concrete in the amount of $4,524.23, same representing sums due related to the 2013-2014 Street Repair projects and sums due related to a subsequent street patch project.
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello, Iowa is an incorporated city within Jones County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, Eastern Iowa Excavating contracted with the City to perform various street repairs and other improvements, most of the projects being generally referred to as the 2013-2014 Street Repair Projects, with additional work related to the 6th Street Ditch/Canal and Hwy. 38 Crosswalk also being performed, and
WHEREAS, Eastern Iowa was subsequently hired to perform a street patching project near the intersection of Business Highway 151 and State Highway 38, and
WHEREAS, Said projects and services have been completed to the satisfaction of the City of Monticello Public Works Director and it is recommended that payment of final retainage to Eastern Iowa Excavating and Concrete be approved in the amount of $4,524.23
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve Pay Request #4 for retainage to Eastern Iowa Excavating & Concrete in the amount of $4,524.23.
