IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-16
Approving Standard Commercial Tax Abatement on
Improvements to the property located at 615 S. Main Street, Monticello, IA.
WHEREAS, Monticello has enacted an Urban Revitalization Tax Abatement program and codified same at Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, The owner of property located at 615 S. Main Street, Monticello, Iowa has filed an Application for Tax Abatement on his property, a commercially zoned and utilized property, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed said Application, and finds that the information submitted therein is consistent with that required by the Monticello Code of Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Application for Tax Abatement filed by the owner of 615 S. Main Street, Monticello, Iowa consistent with Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, said Application bearing the date of 3/06/2015 and being signed by Rick Meyer, and further directs the Monticello City Clerk to file same with the Jones County Assessor as prescribed by law.
