IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 15-19
Scheduling Public Hearing on sale of Parcel 2015-16 to Tom Yeoman, same totaling .35 acres for April 20, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it appropriate to sell a long narrow parcel of ground, identified as Parcel 2015-16, lying adjacent to property owned by Tom Yeoman, to Tom Yeoman for the sum of $6,481.00, calculated at the same per acre rate as the parcel agreed to be sold to Tony and Stacey White, same being identified as Parcel 2015-14, and
WHEREAS, Tom Yeoman has agreed to the proposed sale price of $6,481, and it is, therefore, appropriate to schedule a Public Hearing on the issue of said sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby schedule Public Hearing on the proposed sale of Parcel 2015-16 to Tom Yeoman, adjacent and west of property currently owned by Tom Yeoman, said public hearing to be held on April 20, 2015 at 6:00 p.m., at the Mary Lovell LeVan Renaissance Center, with appropriate notice to be published in the Monticello Express.
