IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-91
Accepting bid and awarding Cemetery Driveway
project to MAC Concrete Construction
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello Cemetery Board has determined it appropriate to seek bids to replace the westernmost concrete drive to the Cemetery, the existing drive being in very rough condition, and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer reviewed the proposed project with the City Administrator and the City PW Director sought bids related to the project, and
WHEREAS, The City received three proposals, two in writing as noted below and one orally, the oral bid being received from Affordable Concrete and being slightly higher that the two bids shown below:
1. MAC Concrete Construction $ 9,706
2. Accent Construction $10,241
WHEREAS, Based upon the above and foregoing, the City Cemetery Board recommends that the City Council accept the bids and award the Cemetery Drive reconstruction project to MAC Concrete Construction at the cost of $9,706.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby accept the bids and award the Cemetery Drive reconstruction project to MAC Concrete Construction at the cost of $9,706.
