IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #15-99
Approving Plat of B & L Addition to Jones County, Iowa
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed the proposed preliminary and final plat of the B & L Addition to Jones County, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, B & L Addition is located just outside but within the two-mile jurisdiction of the City of Monticello, Iowa, just south of the Monticello Regional Airport, and
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the P & Z Commission has reviewed the Preliminary and Final Plat and has recommended that the Council approve of same, and
WHEREAS, The Council further finds that the County has approved the proposed Plats to this point, and that the City must review and approve before said platting may be finalized, and
WHEREAS, In considering the Plat the City Council considered the proximity of the Airport and found that the approval of the Plat would not add or promote the addition of any residential development, the Plat merely dividing one lot on which three houses are located into three separate lots, each of which will have one existing home located thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Preliminary and Final Plat of the B & L Addition to Jones County, Iowa.
