Approving the purchase of EMT3 9 Position Rapid Response
Kits for the Monticello Ambulance Service
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello Ambulance Service received a donation to purchase 4 – EMT3 9 Position Rapid Response Kits, which are also call Mass Casualty bags (MCI) for the Monticello Ambulance Department, and
WHEREAS, the Ambulance Director received a price quote for these kits and has recommended the purchase of EMT3 9 Position Rapid Response Kits from Bound Tree, in the quoted amount of $5, 946.80, and the budget to be amended for this purchase, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that, based upon the recommendation of the Ambulance Director, that the purchase of 4 – EMT3 9 Position Rapid Response Kits in the amount of $5,946.80 to be purchased in FY 2026, is in the best interests of the City of Monticello Ambulance Department and should, therefore, be approved and the budget to be amended accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the purchase of the EMT3 9 Position Rapid Response Kits, as proposed by the Ambulance Director from Bound Tree, as stated above.
