RESOLUTION #2026-110
Approving the purchase of a 2016 John Deere 1575 mower
from Roeder Implement for $18,000.00
WHEREAS, the Airport Manager requested bids of a new mower for the airport, and
WHEREAS, the Airport Board reviewed the bids and recommended purchasing a mower, and
WHEREAS, the Airport Manager recommends the 2016 John Deere 1575 mower, which is comparable to the mower currently at the airport, with a better warranty and purchase price of $18,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds the proposed purchase of a new mower is appropriate and should be approved, and based thereon directs that the Airport Manager move forward with the purchase of the 2016 John Deere 1575 mower, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve of the purchase of the 2016 John Deere 1575 Mower from Roeder Implement at the price of $18,000.00, and directs the Airport Manager to move forward with the purchase and directs the City Clerk to issue payment in full to Roeder Implement upon the completion of the purchase transaction.
